Pseudocolor Display of Abell 1689 with "Enhanced" SAOimage

This is a field from the richness 4 cluster of galaxies, Abell 1689, obtained with the author's CCD system at McGraw-Hill Observatory. The image was loaded into Enhanced SAOimage with MIIPS (Option TV) and then a color lookup table was loaded with option IP (IMAGPROC) from MIIPS. The Enhanced SAOimage Communications Package, however, allows any user written program to download images and to load any of several color lookup tables. The example programs show how to do this.
