OZ Trip July-Spet 2008
Sallie settles in to our Hotel in Hawaii.
A room with a view.
A fact much appreciated by Theo.
A man near a boat. The boat that stopped WWII.
Lovely old controls.
Lovely old Sallie.
He can't come in here. He'll see the big board!
The place were they signed the surrender.
Boom!
Latter that evening we relaxed over a meal and a few drinks.
Next day, the obligatory fruity girlie drinks.
This time we actually left Waikiki. There's a tiny beach down there.
Our new local friend Chris showed us around.
Back in Sydney, Sallie inspects the local biscuits.
Krocky's for a good old chat.
Sue sits in her standard position holding court.
Sallie meets Lilly.
Tiff knows her way around a BBQ.
Barista Emily knows her way around a coffee shop.
Pam wins!
Liz and evil uncle Theo.
It was THIS BIG!
Ralf in cool mode in Hobart.
Sallie in cool mode in Hobart.
Let's face it, we're cool!
Ralf is always blowing smoke.
Theo takes a small snooze. This family stuff wears you out.
See what I mean?
Seafood by the pier.
Yup, that's snow on the mountain. It's what I meant by cool.
And another thing......
Back at Krocky's the talk continues.
Graham shows off his new shirt.
Ingrid shows off her tongue.
Michael shows off his balance.
Ingrid just plain shows off.
Pea even came with the whole family.
They played on the beach.
We didn't.
Back at the old horse to play old people's music.
Trevor prepares.
Dave is ready to rock!
Les can be a bit bass though.
Trevor in acoustic mode.
Theo in electric mode.
Sallie in fingers mode.
Can I keep this one?
Serious drumming face.
A singers traveling kit.
As always, Sallie does it with authority.
Later we repair to a fine Indonesian restaurant.
Sallie and April liked it there.
Brute, force and ignorance?
Mum and Dad amuse the kids.
Trevor amuses us all.
Back at Narrabri. Same guitar, different room.
They had a small fire to amuse the children.
Fortunately, it rained a little later.
Michael and Gordon survey the damage.
Two generations helping celebrate Dad's birthday.
One generation, but still celebrating.
Proud birthday boy.
Later, we all enjoyed father's day immensely.
Just as much fun from this side.
Haley, James and Liz happy at home.
Finally, father packs the secret portrait.
