Sailing to the Channel Islands October
Lucky Jack Hutter.
We made 7 knots on the way out.
Sailing can be hard work.
We approach the Channel Islands.
Having your bottom lip out helps concentration.
Hard at work again.
Yay! We found a rock!
Grog.
The cabin.
Another boat comes in to anchore.
The swell calms as we set up for the night.
Yes, we came all the way to see that hole in the rock.
A blurry Don fixes dinner.
The pink moment.
Everyone still seems to be here.
The Anchor is also still attached. This is a good thing.
Must be morning then.
The whole in the rock is still there.
We prepare the Orion for the days travel.
Seena's sleeping quarters.
Must... not... run.. over.. anchor...
SO where the f*&k are we?
Like camping out, sailing makes for satisfying meals.
The water was quite clear.
A man and his boat. Hoist the Mizzen Staysail Mr. Pullings!
No ropes, no sailing. No wind, we didn't sail anyway.
See how neat we are with the ropes?
A welcome home from our noisy friends.
